TRADITIONAL MUSIC WORKSHOP

The charismatic and impressively musical Irene Watt, TMSA tutor, will provide several pieces of music and lead the group through de-constructing each piece and building them back together adding dynamics, chording, harmonies and performance.The arrangement of the music will allow players of all abilities to participate and any instrument and voice can be involved. This is a very informal and creative process with everyone being encouraged to offer their ideas.A similar Workshop will be held on Saturday 4th February (NEW DATE). Workshops run from 2pm to 6pm and after the second workshop a CONCERT will be held at the Arts Trust from 7.30pm to 9.30pm for family, friends and the public.£20 per workshop or £30 for both. Monymusk Scottish Country Dance

This will be a Hamper Dance in the Village Hall starting with the meal at 19.00 (tables of 10 although smaller groups most welcome). The set dancing will follow with music by Frank Thomson, until 23.30pm. The less well known dances will be 'walked through'. Dress not formal and tartan preferred. All welcome.
