Crafts
The Arts Centre is a shop window for a huge variety of local artisans. Each has a wealth of artistic expression inspired by the beautiful local landscape and their talents and ideas are portrayed in their work.
Craft people are in residence every day in the summer season and their work varies from large or expensive to small or a few pennies; practical or useful, treats and mementos. Wood-turners, candles, knitting, embroidery, toys, painted china, stones and metalwork, soaps, clothes, stationary and a huge range of hand-made or painted cards.
Crafts at the Arts Center
This is an Aladdin's cave in a beautiful Georgian building and an historic Aberdeenshire village. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy at Monymusk.

Artist's Workshops

This is a new departure for the Monymusk Arts Centre: we are inviting artists to teach courses in this beautiful part of Aberdeenshire from the 6th October 2007 to the 20th April 2008.
These could be to advanced or beginner level, in any medium such as watercolours, mixed media, oils, photography, stained glass or jewelry in classes of up to ten.
Charges to be individually arranged between crafters and pupils. The Arts Trust will charge crafters who already exhibit in the Centre 20% per pupil. The charge for external crafters is 30% per pupil. Minimum charge £10 per day.
We can provide a list of local hotels and B&Bs.
